Donna McNeil grew up in Colorado and now raises her family in the beautiful mountains of the Western Slope where she is able to enjoy golfing, cycling, travel, but most of all, her family.

For more than 25 years Donna worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Denver, San Francisco, Honolulu, and even London, UK. She still holds her CPA and works in Ridgway and Delta as an accountant, as well as a realtor.

When Donna’s husband began a second career as a high school teacher in Ridgway, Donna began a career in Real Estate and has been a realtor in the Ouray, Montrose, Telluride, and Delta markets for over 10 years.

Donna used her number-crunching skills to also pursue a career as a mortgage broker for Alpine Bank in Ridgway. Later she started her own mortgage company, San Juan Mortgage. She is still active in lending, but has her own finance company today, which uses a private lending platform.

Being a numbers specialist, Donna most enjoys showing her clients how to make real estate investments work. Many people have suffered in the current real estate atmosphere, yet this is a buyer’s market and it presents interesting opportunities. Donna is well versed in local foreclosure and short-sale properties.
