Are You Staying Cool? Local Connections from SJRI
Thursday, July 15th, 2010What’s the joy of summertime in Colorado? Well, we always have somewhere we can go to cool off! Temperatures are soaring this month and there’s always a mountain or shady hideaway within a decent drive. Yet another reason we love Colorado. The San Juan region offers virtually unlimited access to year-round recreation, and if you’re not hopping in your air conditioned car and getting off to somewhere fun, why not put that on your calendar for this next weekend? If you need something to do, check out our local events calendar for Montrose, Ouray, Ridgway and Telluride. We keep it up-to-date so you never have to wonder what’s going on.
Real estate news is, well, it’s the same song this week. Major channels are all reporting a slight drop in foreclosure rates (but caution we’re not quite out of the woods yet), decreased home loan applications and the fact that we still have some market adjusting to experience as the year rolls on. But that all doesn’t mean we’re not plugging away with business as usual here at San Juan Realty, Inc. In talking to one of our agents the other day, she mentioned that her role has become even more vital than in any other market she’s experienced – clients rely on her for not only housing and local market advice but the inside scoop on market conditions, lender referrals and more. If you’re looking for a home/selling a home and not using a Realtor, you might want to look into that, as we love what we do and it shows to our clients!
Have an outstanding week and we’ll see you back next Thursday for more of an inside look at real estate (and our own backyard!).
