Ah Haa School Ninth Annual As the Crow Flies Exhibition (Telluride)
Exhibition Opening: Thursday, September 11, 5 – 7 p.m., at the Ah Haa School located at 300 S. Townsend Ave.
This juried exhibition spotlights new work by emerging regional artists unrepresented by a gallery. Meet the artists at the opening reception and view their exciting new work. Selected artists are Matt Downer, Yaron H. Guerrero, Klara Chase Lapp and Alex Spencer.

Ridgway & Ouray County Railroad Days
Seventh annual railroad history weekend. Guided hikes on Red Mountain, rides on RGS Motor No. 1, narrow gauge symposium, evening of history talk, and guided tours of RGS and Ouray Branch railbeds. Blues and Brews Festival (Telluride)
The festival is a three day celebration of music and microbrews, held in Telluride Town Park , an outdoor music venue with breathtaking mountain peaks for a backdrop. By day, experience live blues, rock, funk, gospel, and soul, the best microbrews from over 50 microbreweries during Saturday’s Grand Tasting, a wide variety of food and craft vendors, children’s activities, and more – all on the festival grounds. Lake City Wine & Music Festival
The 8th Annual Lake City Wine and Music Festival is taking place in the heart of the San Juan Mountains at the Lake City town park on Saturday, September 20th. Featuring a music line up that includes Chuck Pyle, Albert & Gage, Carrie Rodriguez, Sisters Morales, and Alejandro Escovedo. Music between acts provided by Bruce Hayes. Gates open at 10:00 a.m.; music starts at 11:00 a.m.; wine flows at 12:00 noon.
Tickets for music and wine and a hand-painted wine glass are $75. Music-only ticket is $50. Children twelve and under free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. This is a rain or shine event. Festival proceeds benefit the Lake City Prostate Cancer Awareness Fund. Come and experience historic downtown Lake City and the spectacular fall colors.
